*punches the computer*

Ugh, I hate the internet. It’s starting to piss me off with it’s stupidity and the fact that I have to troubleshoot every 5 minutes, sometimes less. Even when I turn off my computer, I still have to do it half an hour later. I think it’s my home internet connection, because when I use the internet at my robotics team, I never have to worry about it because it works straight through. Ugh, this frustrates me. But now, onto my rant for today.

Do we rely to much on technology? I mean, we have lights, we have computers(which is how your reading this), we have phones that can act as computers, we have heart monitors, we have chemo, we have CD players, and stereos. We have all sorts of things that rely on one thing-electricity. But do we rely on it so much that we have no other ways of communication? People are always saying “Oh, I’ll e-mail you this” or “I’ll face book you that” or something of the sort. The United States postal service is on it’s way out the door because we no longer need it.  It’s all technological.  But the fact that some kids rely on a calculator to do simple math like 24 and 7? It’s just getting to the point where it’s saddening.  A few days ago in the car, my sister and I were joking around with my dad. My dad goes “You guys do this 24/7. It’s bothering me.” And my sister responds with “Oh, don’t you mean 32?” I looked at her, because I caught the base of her joke from the show ‘Two and a half men’ from the episode when Jake and his stepdad refer to everything that they do all the time as 31.

The fact that a NINTH grader can’t do that kind of math is just pathetic. I have trouble in math, but still. Or that my other sister has no idea what the word ‘superfluous’ means. I can use it in a PERFECT sentence, and she would still have no idea what it meant. THAT is what bothers me with the children of today. Yes, you can consider me one of them, but I can tell you that 24+7 is equal to 32, or that superfluous means more then needed or not necessary. “My next door neighbor has a superfluous amount of shoes-I’ve never seen her wear the same pair twice!”

Some generation we have to follow us. The government wants to put money into Research and Development? Wants the students to have the highest test scores like we used to before Japan and other Asian countries took over? The fact that there is more money and funding going into science and math and technology, but not into social studies or English disgusts me. Some kids just don’t think logically, myself included, but social studies and English classes and careers are just as important. If the government were taking funding out of sports or even out of the celebrities pay-checks, then I wouldn’t complain. But the English language is taken for granted because we learn it from birth. Half of the students in our school district, myself included, would NEVER have been able to pass the citizenship test that we have-the idea of these tests coming from China, under a Confucian government. If you don’t know what that is, your fine. But if you can’t tell me the amount of land that the District of Columbia has, or the number of amendments that are in the constitution, or even who the senators are in your state, then you would NEVER be a United States citizen if you weren’t born in the United States.

Which is pathetic. If you’ve ever heard the quote “Those who don’t study history are destined to repeat it’s mistakes.”, then that’s what I’m getting at. We teach about the Holocaust to PREVENT another one. We teach about the Renaissance and the Great Enlightenment to learn about the ideas and how life was before so that we can APPRECIATE what we have now. 50 years ago, the technology that we have today would be considered alien, and in another 50 years, they’ll call what we have ancient and useless, or infantile. “Necessity is the mother of invention.”If that’s true, then why are people using things like Guitar Hero and Rock Band, when they could be learning how to play the guitar in life.

Just because English is the current Lingua Franca, or the language of trade, at the moment, doesn’t mean that it won’t change to a different language, like German or Italian. People today are stupid and they have no idea that America is no longer a core nation and that it’s on it’s way out from whatever seat of power that it has.

Anyways, onto music.

*tries something new*

So, I’ve decided to try something new. Instead of having to go onto the blogger website like I usually do, I get to use the Windows Live Writer to write my posts instead, which is much handier, and I can save posts as drafts, and they won’t go up on the website until I have the time to edit them.

Today, I had a track meet. It was a long track meet, but I go to sleep, which was nice. And tomorrow, I get to build robots for 5 hours instead of going skiing on my new skis, like I wanted to. I mean, I love my robotics team, but I don’t do anything. I’m not good at the new program like I was at the old one, and I’m not a builder. Yeah, I can put stuff together, but only if I need to, which isn’t that often. I was on the team before, but then I needed to drop for a year because of my grandfathers passing 2 Septembers ago because we needed to clean out his house.

I have to go take the permit test again too, because I failed the first time. Yes, you can laugh all you want, but it’s NBD. I studied, but not to hard. I really don’t care though. I’ll take it soon, so then I’ll be able to drive this summer(hopefully) and then it’ll be nice to drive to school too.

I’m going to skip my rant this time(again). Sorry guys, there isn’t really that much to rant about, so I don’t need to worry about it.

*squeals because of christmas*

No, it's not because of a baby's first christmas or anything like that. It's because I got the Little Mermaid on DVD 2-disc Platnium edition with deleted scenes, the soundtrack and a sneek preview of the Little Mermaid:Ariel's Beginning, which is quite adorable and cute. I also got new SkullCandy headphones, a charm bracelet, new running shorts, a snuggie, guitar hero 5, chapstick, an under armour sweater, and some other stuff. But we are now watching THE LIBRARIAN:QUEST FOR THE SPEAR on TNT.
I've started to play this game called Evony and it's actually really fun. Yeah, it's time consuming and you should only play this game when you have HOURS UPON HOURS of time. I love it and I'm gonna keep this post short today.

*tries to understand*

I really want to understanc how this works. I mean, I have various guy friends who all try to explain to me how to understand how a guy thinks and what he wants. But NONE of them can tell me what said boy wants. Ugh. I mean, I think he likes me, and I really hope he does, because I don't want to fall harder without knowing that he's there to catch me so that I don't hit rock bottom, or worse, reality. I really don't want to hit reality because this cloud nine that I've been chilling on is way too nice to drop from. I mean, flirting with him is great, but I really want more then to be some arm candy, or the person that he hooks up with when there's no one else for him to. I'm fairly certain that he likes me after the long talks, the walks through the hallway, the putting up with me when im bitchy or ranting, the 'adoring'gazes(as my friend puts it), the walking me to my next class even when his next one is across the building, the calling late at night to make sure that I'm ok, and all sorts of other things.
It's really all I can do to NOT jump him in the hallway, or in class for that matter. I'm a flirt, but he's really not, so I'm wondering if it's because he's scared that I'll cheat on him-which I would never do-ever. I find that to be disgusting and dispicable and anyone that does that deserves a good smack in the head.
So, as I write this, I am talking to my friend Kayla and she's helping me come up with songs that I should put at the end, since I've done alot. I mean, this is the 46th post of my blog. I'm gonna do a big compilation at the 50th of all the songs that I've put in, and I'm listening to a really good song that she just recommended called "You Had Me at Hello" by A Day to Remember, which an amazing song, and I totally recommend it to anyone who still reads this song. And I just finished listening to a song that you might know, called "Take my Hand(Ft. Cassadee Pope)" By The Cab, which is another good song. Alrighty then.
Next topic. I'm sorry for ranting about my love life for so long, but it just confused me. Now, back to the cheating thing. Yes, I feel that cheating is disgusting and gross and wrong. Two people who swear that they love each other, or they're supposed to be seeing each other exclusively should be just that-exclusive. There are times when it's bad to be exclusive, but this is not one of them. The whole Tiger Woods scandal is getting too much publicity. It's like a news orgy. It's so stupid. Yes, what he did was wrong and his wife should leave him, and he deserves to lose his sponsers, and he deserves all the ridicule, but for him to get as much publicity that he's gotten? That's just stupid.
I also spent yesterday at a funeral for one of my best friend's grandfather, who was like my third grandfather and was one of the most amazing men that I have ever met. He was a person that you could talk to about everything and he would have an answer. Why should abortion not be justified? He would answer it from both a non-religous and religous out look. Which not many people can do. I personally did not agree with some of his opinions, but to hear him speak? I'm honored that I knew him because he was there if you needed a shoulder to cry on, he was there if you needed someone to talk to, he was there if you had done something that you regretted, he was there if you wanted to yell and scream, and he was always willing to help a person in need. He was one of the most considerate, nicest, caring, and most amazing people that I have met in my life.
I can guarentee that he will be missed, not just by his family.
The rest of the list goes as follows:
  1. Kiss me-Rediscover
  2. Shake it-Rediscover
  3. I will Sing-Little Mermaid:Ariel's Begining
  4. I Remeber-Jodi Benson

*glances around at other blogs*

Alright, so before I started this post, I
a)got out of the shower
b)realized I smelled like soap, so I got back into the shower and used a different soap
c)got dressed and brushed teeth
d)came down to listen to my mom scream at the Windows guy long enough for her to come up a with story saying that when she was younger, Bill Gates asked her out when she was drunk and she said no, so he has a personal vendetta against her so she can't operate technology. At. All
e)laughed about my mother's story
f)listening to music
g)was kicked off of my laptop so my mother could check her e-mail
h)listened to two of my friends talk about each other because they LIKE each other
i)thought about said boy again
j)thought about said boy some more
k)took out contacts because they were bothering my eyes
l)spelled the alphabet wrong while attempting to type this list
I feel like this was a productive day. But then I thought about how badly the Gossip Girl ended. And now, I'm listening to a really good song by the Cab featuring Hey Monday called 'Take My Hand' which is really good. And I also started to dance to the song while I was listening and as I continue to type now.
And to expand on my rant from last time, guys like girls because they think that
a)they're pretty as I learned the other day
b)they think that they're easy, as I also learned last night
c)that just because the boy dated them before they want to fall back into your arms
d)girls are stupid
When in reality, boys are very stupid because they think that every girl is in love with them, when sometimes, all I want to do is punch them in the face. The Christmas tree sits in front of me and I think about how long it took us to get all those ornaments.
My favorite part of Christmas is when we decorate the tree because my dad buys my mom a world ornament. The first time this tradition started was a year before my parents got married. My mom was going to break up with my dad and right before she did, he gave her an ornament and said "You mean the world to me." And every year when we decorate the tree, he gives her another one from where ever we went on vacation that year.
It's really cute.
And I just finished the episode of Glee which was amazing, but I'm very upset because...UGH!

*bobs head with the music*

I feel the need to wonder why amoung guys, its considered a good thing if he gets with alot of girls, but if a girl gets with alot of guys, its a bad thing. This really makes no sense. Men can be whores too, but they aren't called it. But as I write this, I'm listening to the best song by Mika called "Grace Kelly", which is off of his 2007 Album called 'Life is Cartoon Motion'. His newer album has some good stuff on it too, but Mika is such a fun guy. His music is really good, and he's pretty good looking too.
I'm also thinking about a guy while I write this. I always have a guy on the brain, but lately, it's all about him. But here's my dilema. I don't think he likes me like I like him. I mean, a bunch of my friends think he likes me and I think he knows it, since I've been really obvious about it. (Whoops). But he never does anything to protest it, which confuses me a bit. Men are confusing, and I really wish they came with an instruction manual.
Music, on the other hand is really easy to understand. Sometimes, the meaning is clear and the writer will tell you what the song was about, whether it be a girl, or simply that he, or she, was really frustrated when writing it. Maybe he was trying to talk about whatever it was that he needed to get off his chest. But a guy? He won't tell you what he's feeling, what he wants, if he likes you, if he thinks your funny. Sometimes, you even have those guys that lead you on because they want to see you get all obsessed over him, only to tell you that he wants to see other people, while at the same time he wants to see you.
When you like a guy, or even when you like a girl, things should be clear cut. There shouldn't be that internal asking about 'whether or not you have feelings for them' or wondering whether they have feelings for you. Life is too short to wonder about the maybes, the could have beens, the should'ves, the if, ands, or buts, and even to worry about what you do. Regrets are mistakes you don't learn from and so far, I have one regret-letting people control my life by telling me what to do. I'm my own person, you're your own person, so what does it matter what other people think? It's your life, and you shouldn't have to worry about what others thing of you.
So what if your a little hefty, or a little thin? If your strange, but happy, then it doesn't matter what others think. If your who others want you to be, but your not happy, then that matters. What matters is that your you. Do you know how many times a day people call me either strange, odd, loud, outspoken, insane, bitchy and blunt, stupid, ditzy, and who knows what else? I have no idea, and frankly, my dear, I don;t give a damn. I'm happy because I have my best friend who laughs at me, shoves me into things, trips me, but if I get into a whole, or I get caught up over something that I shouldn't, she's my shoulder to cry on, she's there with a shovel, she's there if I needed to hide a body, and most importantly, she's an oddball with me.
If you don't like the world you live in, CHANGE IT. I was listening to the radio last night, and the song 'Californication' by the Red Hot Chili Peppers came on, and I was thinking while listening to the radio, "Huh, how true. That's exactly how I feel sometimes." And then I remembered something that one of my guy friend's cousins said to me once. "Music is what other people are feeling. Yes, it can describe how you feel, but it's not from you." And yeah, music is a get-away for me. It makes me happy, it helps me focus, but most importantly, I like hanging out with people who help me broaden my horizons, or help me move away from my comfort zone into doing things that make me happy.
I've played the piano since I was 7. That's almost 10 years. I feel great getting to play music that makes me happy. Yeah, some times it's frustrating, but when I can play that song really well or I finally figured out the hard part of the song that I've been working on for weeks, that's rewarding to me.

Well, I really am getting

Better at this whole blogging thing. I mean, yeah it's fun, ,but no one reads this so I don't really have to worry about actually posting EVERYDAY.
Plus, I don't have the time. I mean, yeah field hockey is over. I LIKE CHANGING THE COLOR WHILE I TALK ABOUT NCIS, AKA MY FAVORITE SHOW IN THE UNIVERSE, AS I THINK I SAID LAST TIME. Sorry, the font is getting changed, this is makes me feel cool. I wanna do this in as many colors as possible. I mean, I got my happy birthday wishes in 16 different languages.
Which included:Weeger, Urdu, Greek, Latin, French, Italian, Spanish, Portugese, Both different Chinese dialects, Farsi, Russian, Croation, Romanian, Arabic, Japanese.
So I feel accomplished.Gibbs, Ducky, Abby, Probie, or McGee, are the best characters on NCIS. I love him and he is amazing. I swear.
I love DiNozzo and Ziva, but Ziva bothers me a little. She's too annoying and stereotypical.
Not gonna complain.
I have no idea what i want to talk about at all, so I might just make something up as I go along.
So, Legend of the Seeker came out this weekend, and I twas sooo good.
I can't even wait until next week.
I'm considering not watching any episodes intil the end of the season, so I can watch them all at once.
That would be good,
2 1/2 is on!
I really like that show, but I also like Gossip Girl, NCIS, Legend of the Seeker, House, Glee, Vampire Diaries, Degrassi.
Those are the rest of the shows.
The only thing I like about Christmas are the movies.

*Jumps at the Sounds of Gibbs' voice*

Well, NCIS, is now officially my new favorite TV show, which means that, while I am terribly sorry about this, Legend of the Seeker is now demoted to 2ND place.
Gibbs is just awesome, Abby is amazing, Ducky=LOVE, McGee is the best nerd EVER, DiNozzo is DiNozzo, and Ziva is just...dangerous, since she can kill someone with one paperclip in 18 ways, as she never forgets to tell Tony.
USA does NCIS marathons all the time, and I love to watch the new episode from Season 6 on channel 2 every Tuesday, Legend of the Seeker is on Saturdays, but the NEW SEASON STARTS ON SATURDAY AND I AM SOOO WATCHING IT!!!!Because I love both Craig Horner and Bridget Regan.
But, I have a show everyday from Monday to Saturday. Monday is House and Gossip Girl. Tuesday is NCIS, Wednesday is Glee, Thursday is the Vampire Diaries(AMAZING!), Friday is Degrassi, and Saturday is LEGEND OF THE SEEKER!!!
I want to talk about Marriage.
There are laws dealing with it. There are bills about it. There are books about it. But in any case, it still has the same basic principal that its had for years.
Even if its between a man and woman or between a woman and a woman.
The bible is old, and it leave out important things, like Lilith. If there are any catholics out there, then read this carefully. THE CHURCH LIES.
Lilith is a sumerian goddess, who was in Eden with Adam, but said "OH HELL NO, I'M NOT DOING YOU." And left Eden for good. There was an entire book written about her in the original draft of the bible, but early patriarchal figures only wanted ass and decided to put women down.
So, yeah. Guys today are still like that, because they only want ass. They wanna hit that, tap that, get it in,whatever you wanna say.

MUSIC
Only a few songs today, and I'm not gonna take you back like I did last time.
  1. Someone like You-Boys like Girls
  2. I want you-The Beatles

ANYWAYS, thats all.

*giggles*

I felt like giggling. Sorry if that disturbed anyone.
But anyways, my birthday is in a week, and I turn 16. I really cannot wait. I mean, not only that the boys like girls concert is getting closer and closer, but also because my parents are taking me to get my permit the day after my birthday. Which will be amazing.
Plus, next Saturday, the new Legend of the Seeker season comes out, and Craig Horner is the love of my life, so I will definately be watching that.
Besides getting the concert tickets, I also got a new laptop, which is what I am writing this post on as we speak, which mean that maybe I might be able to keep my promise of posting on a certain day every weel-if I remeber , and chances are, I won't. But still. It's whatever. It's not like anyone reads this thing anyways.
So, for today, I feel like discussing-SPORTS.
Yeah, I play on the Varsity team of a sport that gets almost NO publicity at all, and if they do, it's when the guys at the schools learn that girls run around in skirts and sometimes, don't wear short underneath. But then you have the girls that enjoy the sport and don't like being stared at. As a Goalie, I don't weat the skirts, or kilts, but I still have a major part of the team. But what about football, or soccer? Why should they get special treatment? Yeah, teachers aren't supposed to favor one group of athletes over another, but some of them do. Take my physics teacher for example. I forget my homework ONE TIME because I was at a field hockey game until like 10 PM and didn't get home until 11. I had other homework to do for my AP classes. A football player in my class was in a similar situation, but guess who got the extension and who didn't.
If you said that I did, then my friend, while I had, I didn't. And do you wanna know the worst part? The football star has been handing in homework late ALL YEAR while I had to balance TWO AP CLASSES, FIELD HOCKEY PRACTICE/GAMES, as well as the babysitting that I have to do AFTER PRACTICE for a 5th grader who gets all of his homework done during the afterschool program. Yeah, I may be getting an A in that class, but I wouldn't call that fair. And if you do, then, I hope that you don't come back to look at my blog.
But, now, onto the music.
I think I'm gonna take you back to the end of the 20th century, when the boy and girl groups were big, like B*Witched, N*SYNC, The Backstreet Boys, or even The Spice Girls.
So, here we go.
  1. C'est La Vie-B*Witched
  2. Wannabe-The Spice Girls
  3. No Scrubs-TLC
  4. Bye Bye Bye-N*Sync
  5. It's Gonna Be Me-N*Sync
  6. I Want It That Way-Backstreet Boys
  7. It Happens Everytime-Dreamstreet

So I hope that you all enjoyed that BLAST TO THE PAST for today, and just so you know, Blame it on the Weatherman by B*Witched was on an episode of CHARMED and I love that song.

Another Misconception

Well, again. I just felt like typing the word 'misconception'. Say it with me now-mis-con-cept-tion.
fun to say, fun to type. Well, we have a german exchange student at our house right now. Her name is Lara and shes really nice. She cracks me up to. She speaks english really well too. But there are other germans here too and they all speak it with a bit of an english accent. I love my parents. Why? They bought me MEET AND GREET TICKETS to see my FAVORITE BAND EVER-BOYS LIKE GIRLS!!!! Yes, I know your jealous. But twhat your not jeaous of are my bruises-which i have PLENTY OF. One of which is on the under part of my leg which i got from a field hockey ball. It's actually very large and it hurts to sit down. But I know your jealous because I also get to see Cobra Starship, The Maine, Verse Emerge and A rocket to the moon. It's also great since on facebook, i am friends with Casey McPherson-lead singer of Alpha Rev, and Richelle Mead-Author of Succubus Blues and Vampire Academy.

But, i have to tell any fans of Vampire Diaries-READ THE FREAKING BOOKS. You can get them at the library. I like them, there good. Read the Vampire Academy Book, Succubus Blues, any book by Sarah Dessen(my fave-someone like you), Sucks to be Me,Dracula, The Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind(watch the show too) Gossip Girl(books and show) and that's it.

My fave show at the moment is NCIS. I love Ducky( i cried), Gibbs is GOD, McGee is the cutest geek, DiNozzo and Zeeva=LOVE.The show rocks, the storyline rocks, the characters rock. It's not that hard a concept.

HOUSE is also pretty cool. They both have that asshole thing going on, but House needs help, Gibbs needs to be right. I love them and they're almost the same character.

Well, It Turns Out

That I'm back to the early morning posts. I'm too depressed at home now to even work on it there. But what I want to talk about today is depressing because I'm going to talk about:Death.

Death is a natural part of life and even though almost exactly one year ago today, my grandfather passed away, it still hurts. On Tuesday, my other grandfather passed away. At first, I couldn't believe it. I had just seen him a few days before! But then, once it did finally hit me, it was wierd. I cried but it didn't hurt as much. I was close with both of them, which is more then many people can say, but now, its going to be much harder to move on. It's great having a mom and dad that are still together, and its even better having all four grandparents until your older. Last year, it wasn't unexpected. My grandfather was in pain, he was suffering, and we were all hurting too. But once he did finally die, it was a little easier to accept that he wasn't hurting anymore. The pain was gone, so it was gone for us too.
But This time, it was unexpected. We had no idea. My mom got the call from the hospital and then she told my dad. It was by far something I dont want to go through again for a little while. It hurts to lose someone you love, take it from me on NUMEROUS occaisons, but if you do, you have to remeber the good things. Not the bad, but everything you loved about them, everything about them that made you smile and everything you wish you had gotten to do. While I'm not a believer in god, I do believe that there is an overlording prescence that helps determine what goes on, and how it goes on. While I'm hoping it won't happen for a while, chances are it will, but next time, I'll be ready. Next time, I'll make sure that I know whats coming.

But now, onto somewhat happier things. MUSIC. I got the new Boys like Girls and Paramore CD's. I love myself in my time of need to by the new boys like girls, and my friend loves me in my time of depression to burn me the Paramore CD. SSOOOOOO, here goes the list.
  1. Sweat the Battle Before the Battle Sweats You-Cute is What We Aim For
  2. She Wolf-Shakira
  3. About A Girl-The Academy is...
  4. Hollaback Boy-Cobra Starship

Alrighty, I think I'm done. If you took the time to read my (somewhat) depressing rant, then I love you. If you didn't, it's what ever.

Ciao for now! (man I havent wrote that in a while)

*yelps in suprise*

HOLY CRAP!!! I can't believe it's September 8th already. I start school in 2 days, and I have like NO work done. I feel like a slacker. But I only know like 2 people who HAVEN'T procrastinated. Wow. This is bad. But, also, I feel a little bit defeated. I mean, there's so much I wanted to do this summer, and I barely did any of it. I wanted to paint my room. Did I? NO. I didn't want to procrastinate. Did I? YES. I wanted to do a bunch of stuff, but I never got around to it. Time just moves to fast nowadays. *sighs* I did get a new iPod though. My friend Stefanie got a bigger iPod and gave me her 30 GB since it has a few problems but as long as it plays music, I'm good.
Speaking of music, I'm now in love with the free single of the week and the free music video of the week. So it's like I'm not even paying for my music anymore, since I get it from mah Babes and a few others. It's perfect!!

Anyways, I'll skip the rant today since I'm too tired at the current moment.

*blinks furiously*

While I am angry, its more the fake kind of anger that you have when you hang out with a friend that annoys you. So, I was talking to my babes and reading her blog, which made me think:are we all the same? I kinda pride to be different then other people because it makes me feel unique. I don't think I'm the same because I'm different. I act differently, I never know anything before i plan on doing it, I'm so spontaneous, but then again alot of people are.

I mean, thinkning back, at one point, I was like other people. But in hindsight, it feels pretty good knowing the fact that I am different, and that I'm not like other people. The 3 things I fear? Clowns and such, all girls boarding schools, and sock puppets. The kinds of music I listen to? Anything that's not country, rap, or heavy heavy metal. The kinds of books I read? Sci-fi, teen drama, chick books, and even drama and mystery. I'm a whole grouping of contradictions. Anything else? Well, I don't think so, but i got my point across.

Thinking on it, I've done things that I wouldn't do over again, but I think in general, I've made mistakes, but there mistakes that have made me stronger. Without the people that I love and keep by me at all times, I have no idea where I'd be. Without the mistakes I made when I was younger, I wouldn't be the same.
I don't believe in regrets because regrets are the things that you would do over again. The past is the past, and while people change, it's not always for the better. Sometimes, it's for the worse. If you have those friends that you were insepreable from in elementary school, and then one of you moves or goes to a different school, you'll drift, without a doubt. When I was little, my best friend was stef. We were the people that told people we were sisters, the ones who knew the other persons family, and the two that spent the holidays with each other. Then, middle school came and she went to one school, and I went to the other. We didn't really talk after that.
We changed. I grew more out there, kinda a geeky but with a few close friends, and she was the one that people kinda looked up too. But once highschool came, we kinda started to get back to talking.
Then, last september, my grandfather passed away. I knew it was coming, but I had no idea how badly it would hurt. He lived right up the street and after that, my life practically fell apart. I did some things I'm not proud of, I chaged in a way that I don't think was for the better, and I was really upset for a while. Then, Stef's mom came to my grandfathers wake with Stef, and then she felt so bad, we fell right back to the way we were when we were still in elementary school. Sure, we were different, but we were still the same. But we fell apart. While I still talk to her, it's not like it used to be.

But all the things I've done, I don't regret. If I regretted them, then I wouldn't have learned from them. In my eyes, regrets are the mistakes you don't learn from, and I've learned from all of my mistakes. While it's not always in the way I imagine it, I always do. There are people I've hurt, people I've become close with, people I've come to love, people I've come to hate, but no matter how it goes, I don't regret any mistakes I've made.

Now, off the serious stuff.

*holds head in hands*

While this can be for crying, the particular reason is because I'm ecstatic. I have plenty of hours towards my internship, I'm actually over. Talk about fun. But, preseason has gone into Saturdays, which leaves me with NO day off this week. Talk about not fun. Any ways, I actually don't have a rant for the day, and I don't have enough songs that i can make a play list, so I might just babble about nothing.

As you all know, I was grounded for a long period of time, and my posts were semi-sporadic. Well, that's goning to change. (I hope.) With school starting, I might just make a set post date when I post every Monday or another day of the week, and only post on that day. But I have no idea what day that would be. I might just make it Saturdays. Yeah, I like saturdays. But, what you might not know about that grounding is that facebook was deactivated so I wasn't allowed on. But, now I have it back, and it's freaking addicting. As my WHAP teacher called it, Crackbook.

He couldn't have been more right. I'm not gonna lie. Well, I kinda have enough in here. But really, feedback would be great. If you have any comments, songs, concerns, or any of the above, then feel free to comment on this post, or any of the others.

*shakes head and sighs*

You might ask why I'm back to asterick thing, but really I have no idea. All i do know is that sports are hard and rewarding. I play field hockey and I'm one of the two Varsity Goalies at my school and I'm proud to play a sport. Why, you might ask? Well, since McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, Subway, and all those other fast food resturants have invaded the world, causing obesity to increase drastically ALL OVER THE WORLD. But, while one can argue that it's the people fault for eating it, they simply eat it because it's there. You can eat at one if your in a rush to get somewhere, you can eat at one if your stopping on a roadtrip, during lunch, whenever and wherever since most of them are open later and later. But while I sit here after a 3 1/2 hour practice, I feel glad that I'm not one of those people who sits there all day with nothing to do but watch TV and eat junk food.

Another topic-CHANGE.
Is it always a good thing? No, but is it mostly? Yes. Change is what causes us to be better(or worse) people, it can affect our lifes, our mindset, even our mentality about something. Change is ahppening right here in our country as well as the world. The recession has affected those who once were the epitome of consumerism, westernization, and all that good stuff, have cut back drastically. It's not only about how much you spend anymore. It's also about what you do to help that planet, what your doing to help jumpstart the economy, and such. Those of you who are changing your life style by eating organic and whole grain/wheat, good for you. I'm with you and I support you wholeheartedly. But those of you who aren't, here's a statistic that might change your view on the way your living:More then 56% of our country's population has diabetes;type 2 to be specific. If you don't know the difference between type one and type two, well here it is.

TYPE ONE:Otherwise known as juvenile diabetes. This is the less common one that you have no control over. It's something in your genes that prevents you from eating to much sugar because your pancreas can't take it. This is one that requires you to map out your sugar intake so you dont eat all of it at one time.

TYPE TWO:This is one that's preventable. Type 2 is caused by your lifestyle. The risk factors for type 2 include inactivity, high sugar intake without excersize, and a sedentary lifestyle in general. This is the most common type of diabetes and it's alsop the most preventable.

Think about it. Do you want to add the the 56% of the country? That's what I thought.

*crys*

You might ask why I might be crying. Well, the answer is simple:preseaon. And in my school, preseason means schools going to be starting soon. But in comparison to some things, that just seems petty.

So, I'm sure you've heard that the sect of Protestantism, called Lutheranism, has now allowed committed gay and lesbian clergy members. A clergy member is a bishop or a pastor since thats what the Protestants call the preist. Why do I decide to bring this up? Well, I bring it up for a few reasons. The first being the fact of how its talked about in the news. The second being the fact that I am a lutheran. Third, being the fact that the Bishop of our area for the Lutherans is gay and happily with a partner. Fourth, the new gay rights thing.
Gay marriage is a huge debate on whether it shoud be legal or not. I, personally think that if your homosexual, thats great for you. I will stand by you and I'll fight for your rights even though I myself, am not lesbian. I think that if the Bishop of New York is gay, then why can't other clergy be? As long as their in a committed relationship, then why does it matter? Sure, the bible says that it's wrong, but the point of the constitution says that a)separation of church and state and b)freedom of religon. Arguably, the can mean freedom FROM religon, which was a major part arguement that my WHAP teacher and I were in during lunch times after the AP. While I think that if your any religion thats a minority, its wrong to teach kids the pledge of allegance with "under god" in it, since there are minorities that don't worship a god, and that's breaking the whole "separation of church and state" thing.
Few people actually know that 'Under god' wasn't in the original pledge. It was only added in 19587 when the Knights of Colobus, a catholic group frough the Supreme Court to add it in.

So, that's simply my opinion, and I kinda branched a little there, and I really hope i get some feedback on this, since this is a mAJOR topic in the country at the moment.

A Common Misconception

I like typing misconception. I mean, really. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines 'misconception' as a mistaken thought, idea, or notion; a misunderstanding. The word is a noun, thusly making common the adjective. What I like most about a misconception is that people tend to get histrionic about it. Histrionic, which means overdramatic, is another fun word. Histrionic is an SAT word, and it describes my personality perfectly. The reason for all the big words, you might ask? That would be part of today's topic.

The topic? The SAT/ACT: Are they really that important?
My answer:NO. All they succeed in doing is stressing the person out because they're convinced that their going to do horribly, and that they'll never get into a good school because they'll do terribly. When in reality, not all school require them anymore. ABC News wrote an article on 27 schools that DON'T require the SAT. All the SAT tests in the first place is how well you take tests. While this may be considered a good thing, it also has it's downside. For example, the three things on the test are math, english, and a writing section. Me? Whenever I take practice ones, I do (almost) perfectly on the english portion of the test. I do decently on the writing, but I bomb the math. Math and I are mortal enemies, so we don't get along. We're like Perry the Platypus and Dr. Doofenschmirtz: We get along, but then one fools the other. The way I see it? You don't need the SAT to get into a school. Sure, it looks good, but you don't really need it. The 27 schools that don't need it? Here's the link to the website if you want to look at them: abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=2540225. The 27 schools are scattered all over the country, so no matter where you live, you can still attend one of these schools.

Well, I'm starting to get better

All be it, I'm still not perfect, but then again, is anyone? So I'm just going to jump right in and start ranting.
The topic for today is:stereotypes.
We've all got them. Whether we think the blondes in our grade are stupid, or the emo kids cut themselves, or the metal listeners skateboard, we all generalize people on how they look, dress, and what they listen to. Is that really cool? No, its not. On numerous occaisions, people have told me they thought I was a blonde, like a stupid one. While I am ditzy, and it takes me a little bit longer to understand somethings, it doesn't mean I'm stupid. And I know that even I classify people. It's not something I want to do, it's just a natural thing for me, sice thats how I grew up;listening to other people judge a whole group because of one person. There are kids in my grade that I cannot stand, and if I can't stand maybe three or four people in a group, I judge all of them that way. A skater listens only to rock and metal. Wrong. 'Some skaters' can listen to pop music, or some perky people can listen to rock and metal. I know I do.
I'm extremely perky, but I listen to almost everything. Rock, Metal, pop, alternative, whatever.

So, for all the legend of the seeker fans:good news. New season starts November 7th. Don't believe me?Here's the link- legendoftheseeker.com/news.html

ummm, here goes

so, I'm at a loss for titles. Anyways, today I was out running this morning, with my friend Stef. We're been friends forever, but I haven't seen much of her since school ended. We ran two miles, and when we got back to my house, we found out that our moms had gone walking together.Guess the two of us weren't the only ones bonding. Hahaha. Then, afterwards, I went to my babes(aka, Ali) house and we chill'd for a while, we went walking, talked about stuff (boys, our summers, school, more boys, boys) and then we had a great talk. We got back to her house and found out the rules of shotgun. Very funny. Look them up on google.
I had to walk home, At least I'm getting good exersize.

Soo, the rant for today is boys.
Are they really all their cracked up to be? I mean, sure, you have your bad boys, sweethearts, the goody goody, the best guy friend, the brothers friends, and all those other groups, but are they worth messing yourself up over? It's almost pointless. Guys are guys, and if they like you, they like you. You don't need to change yourself for a guy.
same for the guys. As fun as it is to make yourself different, its stupid. A guy (or girl) should want you for who you are. Not who you were, not who he wants, but YOU. Theres no need to change over him, cut your hair, get contacts, invisiline, whatever. But, as most people put it, we need those who care about us. There's a bumper sticker on facebook that makes me laugh.
"life is almost ironic. we hurt the ones who care about us, get hurt by the ones we care about, and we change for those who love us just the way we are." That is a grouping of words to live by.

WOW

I really havent written in a while. This would be for the following reasons:
a)i was grounded
b)no internet
c)i forgot
d)i didnt feel like it
I hope that answers the missing questions. Now, as I sit here, IM'ing my husband, who was my fake boyfriend for much of the year, I sit here, listening to "A Whole New World" from the ALaddin soundtrack, wondering, is there really such a thing as love at first sight?
I mean, Twilight has it, Evermore and Evernight has it, all those classic Disney movies have it, so why can't real life?It bothers me that all these movies give you the illusion of love at first sight, when does it really exist? I kinda hope it doesn't because the point is to give you the time to get to know each other, say "I love you" after a decent amount of time when both people in the relationship feel it, and then finally, get married when it's time, or leave the bastard behind. Thats the way I feel about relationships. For example, when you have people in a relationship, they shouldn't jump in and say "I love you" after 2 weeks, just because one person wants sex. It's really not fair for a guy(or a girl) to say "I love you" just because they want sex. That's sorta bothersome, because really, what's the point of it if your only getting sex?
No, this hasn't happened to me, I just feel like putting it out there. Like in Secret Life, Amy gets pregnant, and Grace is convinced that because of her sex, she killed her father. That's kinda messed up, don't ya think?

But that's the way the world works. You have guys that want to take advantage of another person because they "love"them, and then all they do is leave after the sex. But, it's whatever.

Music...
  1. Love Drunk-Boys like Girls
  2. He lives in You-The Lion King
  3. Life is a Highway-Rascal Flats
  4. Me, You, and My Medication

That's it, and if anyone wants anything else, then email me, or facebook. Leave a comment. If you know my phone number, call it:thats what there for. If you want me to rant, then I will. But, forever the vicor will get the spoils and the loser will lose the fortune. Who will guard the guards? Will absolute power corrupt absolutly? Or is it simply the people we put in charge?

Tune in next time for more...

*sighs slightly*

I love, love, LOVE the band The Academy is...
Plus, the bands Tremolo. Their actually really good. Like you wouldn't think so, but they are. Not gonna lie.
THANKS YOU imeem.
Hit the Lights is a good band too.
Well, I'll do music now, and then finish the rest of the rants.
  1. Loose Lips Sinks Ships-Hit the Lights
  2. Seed-The Academy is...
  3. I Don't Know About You, But I Came to Party-Forever the Sickest Kids
  4. Skeptics and Believers-The Academy is...
  5. If You Wanted A Song, Then All You Had to do Was Ask-Mayday Parade
  6. Baby Blue-Tremolo
  7. Sleeping with Giants-The Academy is...
  8. Black Cat-Mayday Parade

Well, thats the list of music.

Topic for today-MUSIC.

Music, to me, is a way of expression. With it, you have those who vent their inner most feelings of rage, despair, happiness, venting about a breakup, the general "I'm-finally-over-you-and-I-hope-your-happy-now" variety, as well the occaisional song you have thats all like, up in your face with its fast beats. But in the modern music of today, take Lady Gaga, for example. I think she's amazing, but she has one of those uncanny abilities that puts her music all up in your face, and its usually abouit her wanting to go home and screw some guy. LoveGame, for example, says "I'm educated in sex/yes/ and I want it bad/ Want it bad". Yeah, a bit of a giveaway. But you never really hear the make breakup songs. It's all the girls stuff. For me, that's the reason that I love "Gives you Hell" by the All-American Rejects, who are really amzing, and I love "Swing, Swing." But then you have those nostalgic, and somewhat lethargic songs, like "Good Riddance(Time of Your Life)" by Greenday. Plus, you have all those songs that are just about nothing, take Fences by Paramore. While I love them, Decode is just too commercial, the AC/DC equivalent of Back in Black.

Well, I still have space, so I'll just rant about something else.

Teachers. You know how you have those teachers who pick favorites, and if your not one of them, that's it. Your screwed. I have teachers like that, and then you have the really great teachers whose class you don't want to fall asleep in because they do stuff like jump on the desks or are just reallllly loud. My WHAP teacher for example, does all of the aforementioned things. AND my english teacher is one of the crappy ones. I really dislike her teaching skills, but she's a nice person. She just can't teach us very well. That's a bit of an understatement.

It's whatever. Anyways, those are my rants. I'll try to post tomorrow.

Have fun until next time.

*squeals a bit*

By now, your probably getting annoyed because of the whole asterick (*) starting the titles of these posts, but I currently feel that they are nessecary.
I love the band Cute is What We Aim For-THEY ARE AMAZING!!!
The song Moan is the best song I know.
And has anyone ever noticed, that when I talk about a band, they go into Rolling Stone?
I mean, St. Vincent did, and they were on here like two weeks before they got mentioned in Rolling Stone. Well, techinically it's one chick, but thats besides the point.
I dyed my hair red.
As I listen to imeem, a good song is "Jamie All Over" by Mayday Parade.
It's really good.
But I love the red hair. I can rock it, and it really contrasts my baby blues, which are kindof an icy blue, but either way, it looks mad sexy.
So I was babysitting last night, and I love the kids. There adorable, but I had to sing a lullaby, so I sang "Higher Ground" since its a ballad, and the girl fell asleep. I mean, I should have realized that I can put people to sleep when I sing. Ask Amanda, who liked my voice, and said "It's immpossible to not fall asleep." And I'll take that as a complement.
Well, what to rant about-
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!
The whole trilogy and the new Disney movies have NO original ideas, and they are jst so stupid.
They brain wash the younger generation with crappy artists like Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus(Whoever the hell she is, she's a sellout. What's next, she'll have her own-Oh too late. She alreasy has that.)and Demi Lovato, the Jonas Brothers, and Joe and Nick are definately gay.
No question about it.
Plus, Vanessa Ann Hudgens is a slut.
Songs....
  1. Your Song-Mayday Parade
  2. The Space Betwee-Valencia
  3. Hey Brittany-Forever the Sickest Kids
  4. Count 'Em One Two Three-The Maine
  5. Elephant Gun-Beirut

Enjoy, and I hope you had as good a weekend as I did!

*screams at the top of my lungs*

I want to do just that.
My sunburn is peeling and it hurts. Really, just the fact that I can get sunburned on my boobs says something about how white I am.
It's a tad upsetting and its bothersome.
But as I help one friend through a breakup, and another through a first date, I'm instructing a few of my friends in Music 101 as I have deemed it, since they enjoy the music, so it's like one of those fun classes you take in school that you actually want to go to.
I do like that. But at the same time, it's nearing FINAL TIME
and I'm going to fail the math regents.
Watch.
Just watch.
Chivalry.
That's the topic for today.
Should girls wait for the guy to make a move?
I know allowing the guys to hold the doors is polite, but do they have to do it all the time?
And why is it that when you date a guy, he gets all possessive.
He should trust you enough to know if you'd cheat on him, and guys should know when to back off.
Rackjack is not cool.
Trust me. It leads to fights between best friends and Bros
as well as the girl hating herself for it.
Unless she's a slut. But thats a different story.
If a guy likes a girl, he should be faithful.
A girl can be a bit more emotional then the guy, but the guy should have the same feelings. Its shouldn't be the girl worrying because her boy is out with the crew. And she's scared that he's cheating on her.
Trust has to go both ways with this.
The guy should trust the girl, rather then get possessive, but he shouldn't back off too much. He shouldn't be flirting with other girls to freak the girl out.
Same for the girl. You don't flirt with other guys to get him jealous if you think hes cheating.
That's the rant of the day.
Music....
School House Rock! anything by them.
nah. That's a lie.
Listen to 1,2,3,4 by the Plain White Tee's.
Then Love's Not a Competition by Paramore
Thats that.
Have a good weekend.

*smiles a tad*

I'm very happy. Well, happy as one can be. Erika made a blog, so that's three people on the bandwagon. But, I'm very distraught because even though Kahlan and Richard love each other, they still aren't married, and all they ever do is kiss, which annoys me because they should totally do it or have zedd marry them, and THEN do it. BUT noooo, I have to wait until next season, when ever the hell that is, and they STILL probably won't get married.
Ew.
That annoys me. I hate sunburn. It itches, and I look like a tomatoe. I mean, sure, tomoatoes are good, but I would prefer NOT to look like one, if you know what I mean. Ugh. This is bothersome. EWWW!!!
I was happy, but now I'm not. Oh well. Now Let's see. I handed in my english essay, which was a work of literarture genius and if I don't get above an 90, I'm going to
a)scream
b)punch mrs. isaac in the face
c)ask what they hell
d)attempt to understand her logic
e)a, c, and d
the appropriate answer would be e, but the answer I wish was possible would be b.
AHHHH!!!!
personally, I'm very annoyed at my friend's (ex?) boyfriend and if she tells me too, I will beat him up for her because that's how good a friend I am. I'm the... Haley to Scarlett in Someone like you by Sarah Dessen.
That's how good a friend I am.
And do you know what I learned? Lady Gaga used to be a stripper. HOW COOL IS THAT?
Hmmmmm...
Let's see. I'm at a loss of music for today...so let's see...
How am I going to do music...

*sheds a tear*

Um...I'm gonna cry. Why, you might ask? BECAUSE MY COMPUTER SPEAKERS AREN'T WORKING! AND I'M VERY ANNOYED BY THIS BECAUSE NOW I CAN'T LISTEN TO ALEXZ JOHNSON'S HIGHER GROUND, WHICH IS MY FAVORITE SONG AT THE MOMENT NEXT TO EYES WIDE OPEN BY THE GOO GOO DOLLS!!!!
Now that that's out of my system , I' dont feel so terrible. And really, thanks for the prompts that I NEVER GOT! Instead, I just made a whole huge fight happen between Cam and Cassie so then Andrew and Cassie sleep together and Cam climbs through the window confessing his love for Cassie, only to be recaptured by Genevieve, well more specifically Vasalia, but still. And then Cassie finds him and says "I can't help you." and leaves him with them.
It's pretty epic and brings me to about 35 pages typed and 21 more pages TO type, but still, it's ok. I think it's the best part of the book, and I hope that when I ask for help again, it makes more sense. And my imeem name is heavendevon711@aim.com. Yeah, thats it. I have a 42 song playlist THAT I CAN'T LISTEN TO!!!! AHHHHHHHH! This depresses me. I am bothered deeply by the fact that these speakers are not working. Ugh.

Now, If you'll excuse me, I have to go cry...and then do a draft for Mrs. Isaac's english class*mumbles under breath* idiot, and then sleep, and then cry some more over the death of the speakers. *sheds a tear*

Ummmm.... Babble time!

I just learned that we only have five more weeks of school. (Thank you David) and once school ends, for me it's time to kick back, relax, go to the beach, get my work out of the way, sleep late, and then party like there won't ever be time again. Well, i took the World History AP today, but that's all I'm allowed to say. Sooooooo, I won't be the one to invalidate my school's scores. If you want to know what it was like, TAKE IT YOURSELF! Duh. I mean, it's not that hard. Unless... of course your like my beloved Ali, though while shes a bit of an idiot, shes my idiot. I LOVE YOU ALI! Anyways, At school, the day of the AP, dying of tiredness and I just ate a twix because I feel like my abdomen is going to explode from PMS cramps. Wow, that was random, but thats what this is all about. Anyone still taking APs, heres advice from my friend Jake-Just chill. Don't bother hyperventialting-it stresse you out more. Don't freak out, that's no way to start an AP, and DO NOT waste forever on the multiple choice-It screws you up for the rest. It was great Advice when I was taking it this morning. 70 multiple choice is a lot to get through in like....55 mintes. Did you know some guy traded a paper clip to get a house? Well, he did and it's amazing. He traded a paperclip for a pen for a broken grill for an empty keg and just worked his was up until he got a year free on a house in Arizona. It was amazing! YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT on the today show....
Um...
SONGS-Crap.
  1. Second Chance-Shinedown

Well, this is perfect

I just found the best site ever for music. It's called imeem.com and its so amazing because music people like me can make a site and post the music they love on it. You can make a playlist of their songs as well and save it. Or you can just download it off iTunes if you want it on your iPod, it's that amazing. I just found out about bands and songs I never knew existed whilt on it. So since, there are no comments, I'll make the assumption that no one has a new prompt for me. That last line I have written is "I walked down the dark hallway, and then I heard a noise in the darkness that scared me. I know, me, scared:such a shame really. I never would have guessed it." Well thats like three sentences, but still.I never go back and change them, but I have a playlist in the works now with

  1. "Enter Sandman"-Metallica
  2. Read, Set, Go!-Tokio Hotel
  3. Laughing with a Mouth of Blood-St. Vincent
  4. Smile-Todd Carey
  5. Dance Hall Drug-Boys Like Girls
  6. Perfect-Alexz Johnson
  7. Come Sail Away-Styx
  8. Clocks-Coldplay
  9. Americas Suitehearts-Fall Out Boy
  10. Cliffs of Dover-Eric Johnson
  11. Up against the wall-Boys like Girls

And like a million of others. It's actually how amazing this some of these songs are. But thats like the list as well as my rants about it.

HEYY!

Well, I have a mentor! I'm very excited about this. Like, you have NOOOO idea whatso ever. Anyways, I was thinking, what would happen if I made a movie with a samuri, a ninja, a ganster, a pirate, a viking, and a jedi? That would be like an EPIC battle. The sides would turn out like this: The ninja, samuri, and pirate VS the viking, the jedi, and the gangster. At least, thats how I hope it would happen, but I'm not sure. I've been up since 6 this morning when I had to get ready to come to a 6:30 review for my World History AP. Fun, right? Anyways, this is me randomly posting since I broke my 4 day streak last week, which was depressing, but since my dad's computer is dying, I haven't had the time to do anything on there, and my laptop has no internet since the internet in my room is crappy, which sucks a lot. But this is the week of Guns N' Roses, thats right. Music is too good to listen to all at once, you have to divide it up into weeks, which is why last week was Lynard Skynard, and Next week: The Who. Speaking of Thw Who, when I was in Italy, two of my guy friends, being the shoe whores that they are, forced me to go in to guys shoe store after guys shoe store. In oneof them, where there were girls and guys shoes, which I was NOT paying 150 euros for a pair of shoes, no matter how cute. I do have limits! There was a pair of converse that was white with a red stripe on one side and a blue one on the other where the black stripes should have been, the shoe itself was white with....The Who logo. Only 69 euros, which is a reasonable price and they were actually gonna buy them. I mean, they were pretty cute, but I'm not paying 69 Euros for a pair shoes, since that translates to like 130 american dollars, no joke.
So, in no alphabetical order:
  1. The Whisper-Queensryche
  2. Lullaby-The Cure
  3. Walk All Over You-AC/DC
  4. The Wicker Man-Iron Maiden
  5. Paradise City-Guns N' Roses
  6. I wanna Be Sedated-The Ramones
  7. One Week-Barenaked Ladies
  8. Chasing Cars-Snow Patrol

Sorry for the Short list this week, but an overload of music isn't always a good thing. Off to English now. *Saracstic yay*

Well, This is what happens

When I get bored. I know, this makes day two in a row. I'm so proud that I'm actually getting the hang of this. THE NEW LEGEND OF THE SEEKER COMES OUT ON SATURADAY!!!! I CAN'T WAIT AT ALL!!! THUSLY WHY I'M WRITING IN ALL CAPS!!!!!!!! I LOVE CRAIG HORNER!!!!AND I'm soooo happy because the new Percy Jackson book comes out in like 15 days, so I'm pumped. But I have to wait till August for the new Vampire Academy, September for the new House of Night, and who knows what month (minus Christopher Paolini, the love of my life for creating my fave book series, the Inheiritence CYCLE! I can't wait.) Speaking of books, I'm working on one, but I'm at a dead end. I need help. I'll gove you the gist of what I have so far, and you can help me come up with an idea, or two. Or maybe three. Anyways:
Cassie is special. Not the super smart special, but the super powers kind of way. But she's the really special one, and she's not by herself. But when her best friend Cam gets kindnapped on a secret mission, she finds out what it means to finally have the guy of your dreams, but not have to play Cinderella when it come to your heart.
Cam, Cassie's best friend is one of them two, but from breaking out of jail, or withstanding torture from his mom, Cam finds it hard to maintain the balance of who he is and who he wants.
The story switches back and forth from Cam and Cassie's point of view but I'm stuck. Sure Cassie and Andrew (Mind reader) totally dig each other, but once Cam's mother rips him away from Cassie, not even Genevieve herself can stop Cassie on a warpath.
After that I'm stuck. But, if you have any ideas, it would REALLY help. But here's the list. (Doubled, Like I promised):
  1. 1. After the Thrill is Gone-The Eagles
  2. Aiming High-Accept
  3. Ain't Talking Bout Love-Van Halen
  4. Alien Nation-The Scorpions
  5. Alive-P.O.D
  6. All Eyes-Heart
  7. All Fired Up-Pat Benetar
  8. All She Wrote-Firehouse
  9. Am I Evil-Metallica
  10. America-Santana
  11. And the Bands Played on-Saxon

Sorry dudes, but thats the list for today. Ciao, and I hope to write back soon.

Ciao

  1. 2.

Heyyy Heyyy HEY!

Well, I just leraned I can make posts at school, thusly why I've posted and 9 on a Tuesday morning. So when I got back from Italy, I wanted to go back. Really, its gorgeous and its so amazing, I would go back in a heartbeat. Have any of you ever felt like a secratary? Yeah, I'm now unofficially my friends secratary. After typing his essay on advertiseing AND his National Junior Honors society community service form, I learned that he wants me to type alot of stuff for him. LIKE ALL OF IT. And as much as I like him, I won't be stomped on and used like that. It's bothersome and degrading. Speaking of degrading, Did anyone else participate in the Day of Silence last firday besides me and my babes? Anyone? Show of hands here. So while report cards came home, I got a C in orchestra because I never went to sectionals like I was supposed to. I'm a procrastinator, what do you expect?I got a C- in geometry, but that was a given. C in italian, that I wasnt to shocked about(or thrilled for that matter...) and I got a B- in my idiot english teachers class. YAY!Plus an A- in my World History AP class. (AKA a collage level class in case you didnt know. ) Well, I met with Dr. Nivas for a large environmental engineering company today, like an hour ago, and he was sp impressed, he might consider being my mentor. HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE! But My chem performance is dropping since I don't give a crap, but I should probably pay attention now to get my grades back up. We have a problem for all the music fans out there. Since I don't have mu iPod OR my iTunes library, I can't make the list today, but I'll double it next post. I promise.
XOXO and arrivederci, my faithful readers.

Ever have you had...

One of those amazing days where you get so much done and you feel really great? Realize you leave for a foriegn country in 2? Finish an english project? YEAH! I got all of that in one day...and it's not even 1 yet. Man, I feel great and I leave for Italy in 2 days. Man it feels great. I just baked an apple crumble and the house smells great, the whole first floor is clean, and I'm almost done packing and editing my group project for my idiot english teacher on Macbeth. So all in all its a pretty good day. I just wish I could see last nights Legend of the Seeker. If you haven't watched it, START NOW! For any girls reading this, Craig Horner, the main guy is SOOOOOOO hot, and for any guys, Bridget Regan is really pretty and according to Brodie, she's really hot. In general its an amazing show that I'm in love with and even though it's kindof violent, its all worth it when you see Craig Horner shirtless. YAY! And from now on, I'm just gonna go alphabetically down my iTunes Library since I love it all.
Anyways, heres the list:
1. Ace of Spades-Motorhead
2.Aces High-Iron Maiden
3.Achilles Last Stand-Led Zepplin
4.Acrobat-U2
5. Advice for the Young at Heart-Tears for Fears
6.Afraid to Shoot Strangers-Iron Maiden
7.After the Rain-Nelson
I hope you listen too it all and I'll make my way down and if there are any doubles, its because I've forgotten. Anyways, Arrivederci and I'll see you in Rome. :)

It's really good.
NOW I'm done. Arrivederci

ANGER MANAGEMENT!

GAH! I definately think that I have that issue. Especially now that I know I'm allergic to kid I used to sit next to in Math. Well, I'm not allergic to him personally, but still. And you know that place when you start to question your faith. Yup, totally there. Well, borderline agnostic-athiest. It really matters on the day. And as I am currently writing, it says "ERROR These characters are not allowed in a post label. !" So I guess that means I can't have an exclamation point in your label.... Whatevs. Anyways, I don't know if I posted this last time, but I'm addicted to this great show on the CW on saturdays called LEGEND OF THE SEEKER. It's based on the "Sword of Truth" bookseries if you've ever read them. And I just finished Memoirs of a Geisha which is really goooooood, if you ever want to read it.
Anyways,  only song for this post is AMERICAN PIE by DON MCLEAN!
LISTEN TO IT
NOW
arrivederci and happy carnival
LOOK IT UP IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I MEAN

Um....

I'm running out of names to use for the titles of these posts. On the other hand, my hair looks fabulous. While Kyla didn't help me dye it, she totally straightened it, and it looked HOT. I'm not even joking, that girl could go into hair dressing, that's how fabulous she is. But have you ever had one of those headaches that whenever you move your head, it hurts really badly?Like theres some kind of flu going around in your head causing it? Yeah, I totally have that kind of headache. And I know the flu is going around, but it could be worse. But, I have taken up cooking lately and here's a good recipe if your in a hurry or you don't feel that well:(I'm going to do this in a scientific procedure way)
Materials:1 piece of bread, 1 egg, salt and pepper, 1 table spoon of butter, a spatula, and a non-stick small pan
1.Gather Materials
2.Put a hole in the middle of the bread, about the size of the egg.
3.Put the bread on the side
4.Turn on the stove and put the butter on the pan.
5.Once the butter melts, put the bread on for about one minute.
6.After a minute, turn the bread over and crack the egg into the hole.
7.After a minute and1/2, turn the bread over.
8.Leave on that side for a minute then turn the stove off.
9.Serve immediately.
Bacon optional.
It may sound kind of wierd, but it's totally good. Anyways, I totally failed math and Italian, but I think I'm good on the rest. Have you ever been totally obessessed with one particular band, and you love all their music? Yeah, I'm totally there with Death Cab for Cutie. Anyways, here's the list:
1.Pleasure(Pleasure)-Bang Camaro
2.Carry On Wayward Son-Kansas
3.Poker Face-Lady Gaga
4.White Horse-Taylor Swift(She doesn't count as country, since her music is mostly like a pop kind of thing)
5. Down on Dream Street-Dream Street
6. Courage Is...-The Strange Familiar
That's my list for today.
And, since I can't leave the house to go see my friends in Guys and Dolls, GOOD LUCK! and My friend Ali and I have to chill totally soon because I miss my babes.(Hahahaaa story from last night.) Anyways, have fun and remeber, AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY! hahaha just a fun song.
Arrivederci!

Personally?

I love the weekends. Like, legit, I do. It means you get to sleep late, invite friends over to study for midterms (if you have them,) and you get to clean and get all that stuff you don't have time over the week to do. In my case, it means hair redying, italian studying so I don't fail that midterm, math studying (same reason,) chilling with my best friends at battle of the bands, and all that fun stuff. I'm just glad I had the time to clean my room. And you know you're younger then all your friends when they start sending out invites for their sweet sixteens, and you kinda like...Yeah, about that...Mine isn't until November...So yeah, when you get your permit, can you drive me to school? Thats how I feel with my friends sweet sixteens. I'M SO YOUNG!
Anyways, heres the music list for today:
1.Lost-Menudo
2.Back in Black-AC/DC
3.Rooftops(A Liberation Broadcast)-The Lastprophets
4.What You Got-Colby O'Donis
5.Gives You Hell-The All-American Rejects
6.Title and Registration-Death Cab for Cutie
Thats my list for today, and I'm very excited for the rest of my weekend.
Happy Weekend Everyone.

Well, This is my first post for the new year, and tomorrow, I'm redyeing my hair(I Hate root lines...) studying Italian so I DON'T fail, cleaning my room, and then it's off to Battle of the Bands, where a band from my school is playing. So all in all, my saturday will be fun. Anyways, you should definitly listen to those, and another good one, Supermassive Black Hole by Muse.
anyways, Thats all for now.
