Something That I Tell Myself I Need

For all of you that have read this before, you should all know that I’ve mentioned "Grace Potter and the Nocturnals” before. I think it was sometime last year? Anyways, I’m currently in love with another song by her that you should definitely check out if you haven’t already listened to it. It’s called “Something That I Want” and it was the ending credits song for the Disney movie “Tangled”. This post is also 6 hours earlier than my usual posts, so you’ll have to bear with me if I post again. Today’s been a throwback day for me, musically. It’s mainly because I’ve been listened to a lot of the music that I’ve ignored while I scour the internet for new music. I’ve been going back through the old Hey Monday, Boys like Girls, and even some old 80’s rock. It’s been quite the experience for me, just because I forget how much I like a song when I constantly skip over it when I’m listening to my iPod, trying to learn all the words to a new song. I also spend way too much time working on bracelets, but it makes watching scary movies much easier since I have something to fidget with. I’ve also officially been at college for a month. It’s scary how fast time flies by. That also means that I turn 18 soon, which has me very excited, since that means that I’ll be able to vote, drive in the state of Ohio, gamble, and partake in activities after 12. I only wish that I was able to spend some time with my sisters before their birthdays, since they’ll be turning 16 in 2 weeks.

I also want to tell you all about this band that I found recently called Darling Parade. They’re like Hey Monday mixed in with some All Time Low, and some Newfound Glory. They’re really good, and they’re also going to have the only songs that I recommend you go out and listen to.

She lives at night and sleeps all day

As you all know, I'm a huge nerd. Seeing as how you all know this fact, none of you should be surprised that my phone now has the triforce on the back of it. Also, I got some new music today. Yeah, you'e probably also curious as to why all of my posts take place after 12 AM (minus this one) and that just happens to be when I'm awake, since I sleep practically all day. I'm not even joking, which is the sad part. Anyways, music for today:

A Review? What?

Tonight, you guys are going to get TWO reviews! An Album review (Everything's Fine by The Summer Set) and a Series review!(Not TV, a book series that's gotten pretty popular-The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins)
FIRST OFF: The Album

ALBUM:Everything's Fine
ARTIST:The Summer Set
SONG LIST:
  1. About A Girl
  2. When We Were Young
  3. Someone Like You
  4. Back to the Start
  5. Must be the Music
  6. Thick as Thieves
  7. Mannequin
  8. Mona Lisa
  9. Begin Again
  10. Love to You
  11. Don't Let Me Go
RATING:4.5 Stars
SONGS TO LOOK FOR:Thick as Thieves, Someone Like You, Begin Again, About A Girl

I love this band with a passion, because I think that they're great. While I'm not a huge fan of this particular album, there are some super catchy songs on here that make up for the fact that it's not as good as Love Like This (which I reviewed back in April). "About A Girl" is a slow love song that I listen to on repeat for insane amounts of time, but "Someone Like You" is fast, catchy, and upbeat. Trust me, you'll get it stuck in your head for days (if not weeks) at a time. "Must be the Music" is a great song to listen to when you want to get ready for a party (or wake up in the morning), but "Thick As Thieves" is catchy enough to make you want to listen, but slow enough to calm you down. "Begin Again" is my favorite song on the album because of the lyrics. It's fast-paced, and it just lets you know that you can screw up as many times as it takes, but you can still move forward. Brian Dales(the lead singer) said that this song was the song that let him know they were ready to move on, and that it's the most similar to the first album.

SECONDLY: A book review!

THE BOOK-The Hunger Games
THE AUTHOR-Suzanne Collins
RATING-5 stars
This book, or rather series, is one of the greatest series that I have had the opportunity to read in a long time and I have to admit that my main reason for loving it was the setting. For those of you unfamiliar with the series (shame on you!), it's about the future of the United States after a devastating event that destroys almost all life, except for one city called Panem and 13 surrounding colonies. Panem decides that they want to control everything, so they wage war, and the 13 districts are eventually defeated and put under Panem's control. The 13th district is eventually destroyed, and is used as an example, much like the Hunger Games.  The Hunger Games are Panem's way of showing that they still control the 12 districts and can destroy them with ease if they really wanted. The rules are simple: 2 representatives from each of the districts are sent to the Capitol City where they'll fight the other 22 contestants to the death in an arena that can be controlled. The book is fantastic, fast-paced and addicting. I read the book in a little more than 2 hours and quickly jumped onto the second book. It's entertaining and definitely worth picking up at a bookstore or a library.

I feel like I'm the worst person to write summaries, just because I don't know what to leave out or what to put in. Anyways, I hope you all grab "The Hunger Games" and read them as quickly as you. Literally, you don't want to put these books down because they get to be addicting.

deuces.

You’re always on my mind

I did a lot of thinking after my exam today, mainly about video games. Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not a huge gamer, but I dabble. I’m a huge an of the "Legend of Zelda” games, and a group of friends are thinking about getting the triforce tattooed, just because it’s a triangle with 4 triangles, and it looks really cool. I already have a design in mind that someone else has, and I was doodling it after I finished my test. It’s currently on my wrist, but I’m thinking about getting it somewhere that I can hide easily if I have to, like my shoulder blade or right behind my ear. I figure that if I do decide to become a lawyer, I can’t exactly have a video game reference anywhere visible on my body. I do like the design. tattoo-triforce

Do you like that? It’s really cool and it’s like flowery enough that I could pass is off for something, and my sisters and I are thinking about getting it if my friends decide not to, just because there are 3 of us, so it would be symbolic. It actually makes me really excited for my birthday in November, just because then I can get it!

What I plan on doing today is going over the Legend of Zelda games (in order!), and I’ll let you know which ones I’ve played, and which ones I haven’t. I’m leaving out the ones that weren’t released on Wii, Gamecube, or N64.

The Adventure of Link •This is one of the games I haven’t played. Yes, it’s the first one in the whole series, but the effects make me want to vomit. It gives me a headache, and I know that any true fan would have at least played part of it, but I’m part of the generation AFTER pong, when graphics were beginning to get fantastic. I also haven’t played the second one, so I’m leaving it out.

Ocarina of Time • This is the game that everyone associates with the Legend of Zelda, mainly because it was revolutionary. Truly, it was. The first game to allow auto-targeting, and the game that my friends and I grew up on, mainly because when the Gamecube was first released by Nintendo©, they released the first four games on one disc, including a 15 minute preview of Wind Waker. I love this game, even though it takes a LONG time to beat, because you have to beat each temple twice, and if you miss something (like a heart container) when you’re Young Link, you can’t get it later. It has one of the better storylines, and it sets the scene for Majora’s Mask, (which is one of the only games in the series that takes place almost immediately afterwards.) Plus, it sets the tone for Twilight Princess. This is also where you meet Navi, and anyone whose played this game can tell you-“Hey! Listen!” quickly becomes one of your least favorite sayings in the whole world because you hear it so often.

Majora's Mask •The way to think of Majora’s Mask is that you live the same 3 days over and over again until you beat all the temples and fight Skullkid (multiple times.) Like I mentioned earlier, this is one of the only games that has a continuing storyline almost directly after it’s predecessor. I’ll admit that this one was actually my least favorite of the 4 games that I have played. Many would argue that this is their number two (put behind either Twilight Princess or Ocarina of Time) but it never appealed to me, simply because I felt like I was playing the videogame while watching Groundhog Day. It drove me crazy, and the storyline didn’t thrill me. The fairy drove me CRAZY and I actually muted the game, even though you need the music. The best part about it was that you had a bank account, even though sometimes it would reset itself with the time changes, but it was still handy since you didn’t have to spend all of you rupees. Oh, and getting the ocarina back after it was stolen was the most obnoxious part of the game… and so were the kids whose clubhouse you have to get into.

The Wind Waker • Now, this game is always on the bottom of anyone whose played the game, simply because the story line doesn’t really relate to the other games, simply giving you the green robes as a “right of passage” and you have an actual family in this one. It’s shocking, I know, but there’s pirates, so that makes up for it. The best part about this game is Tetra, who acts like your fairy, but only when you’re doing things that pertain to her. It’s great. While this game gets really frustrating because you do A TON of sailing around the ocean on a little tiny boat (whose incredibly integral to the story, and who everyone seems to know) and I always managed to get lost when I was playing because you have to constantly open the map up. The twist in this game is CRAZY and I wouldn’t have seen it coming if one of my friends hadn’t spoiled the whole damn game for me by telling, so I won’t ruin that surprise for you. Wind Waker definitely tops Majora’s Mask for me. It would be on the top of my list if they hadn’t released Twilight Princess. The only good part about this one is that it does have a continuation to it, but only if you bought if for the DS, which was a great way to make money, but since my friends didn’t play, I didn’t bother getting it.

Twilight Princess • Midna makes the game. While this is the most innovative of the games, because it was released for the Wii AND it had a whole new story line that had some aspects of Ocarina of Time. The shape-shifting made the game a tad frustrating because you would have to go through some areas more than once, but it was so worth it. This storyline was my favorite, mainly because it was so much cooler than the rest. Sure, I got stuck on the water temple, because for some reason, in every Zelda game, the water temple is the worst. You think that I’m kidding? I’m not. Ask anyone whose played more than one game. It’s horrible. Anyways, the boss battles were intense and were actually pretty fun. Oh, and if you attack the chickens, they don’t attack you like they do in the other games. Back to Midna: She’s probably one of the only “supporting” characters that actually has a back story. SPOILER: She’s the Twilight Princess and that’s the reason that everyone loves her. That, and the fact that she’s a badass.

Also, for those of you who have never played a Legend of Zelda game (shame on you!), you have to know the most important thing in every game (except Majora’s Mask). The triforce (that triange thing I want to get tattooed) is the whole story line. It’s basically the place where the three goddesses (Nayru, Din, and Farore) who created Hyrule (the kingdom you play the hero of) left the planet to go back to the heavens. They each represent either wisdom, courage, or power, and since you’re the chosen hero of the goddesses, you have to defend Hyrule from Ganon (in some games, he’s Ganondorf), whose the wielder of the triforce of power. In some of the games, Zelda (triforce of wisdom), acts as a Sage, who allows you to gain access to the actual triforce, but in others, she’s just a magical princess (like Twilight Princess). You also have to understand that there’s more than one race of “people”. I say “people” because I don’t exactly know how to describe the other races if you haven’t played the game.

I recommend finding and playing one of the games ASAP if you haven’t already. They keep moving and are pretty fun to play. My warning:DON’T save in the middle of a temple because you’'ll have to do everything over again unless you leave the game running on pause (which doesn’t actually do anything, since it still runs your clock). Either beat the temple, or don’t start it if you’re going to have to go somewhere within the 30 minutes to the hour that it will inevitably take you to beat it.

It's a Problem

So, I have this thing where every time someone says "I did so good!", I automatically say "Well". It's horrible because people assume that I'm going to say something else, when in reality, I'm just correcting their grammar. I always feel a little bit bad about it afterwards, but then there are the douchebags who just don't like to speak correctly. It's a huge problem, especially at my school. Even if I'm not in the conversation, I still correct it. It just doesn't sound right to say that you did good rather than you did will. I hate to say things that don't sound right, and I correct myself pretty quickly if I notice that something wasn't totally right with what I just said. My best friends, who we'll refer to as "Gingerbread", always tells me to shut up when I go to correct someone, but since she's not in Ohio with me, I just say it anyways.

You're probably thinking that I'm neurotic, and I would have to agree with you, mainly because I do two other things oddly.
1)I eat my M&M's by color. Brown, Orange, Yellow, Red, Blue, Green.
2)I listen to music when I'm doing everything. This is mainly because I get distracted otherwise, which is pretty weird. (also, I can't spell weird without double-checking to make sure that I've spelled it right.)

I do understand that now that I've revealed this to you, you all probably think that I'm ridiculous, and I totally understand if you don't want to read this blog again, mainly because I wouldn't want to, especially after I made that whole big rant about "Castle" and how excited I was for it. I know that I told you all that I was going to talk about things that are slightly more important in life, but I just couldn't help myself. I was pretty disappointed in the premier though. My sister thought it was crazy, but I was expecting more from it. I understand that they aren't HBO who can make a show go for an entire hour and not have to deal with any commercials, but still. It was disappointing to me.

Another thing that you could be wondering: why am I posting this at 3 in the morning? I'll tell you why. I have to read this book called "The Great Risk Shift:The New Economic Insecurity and the Decline of the American Dream" for my American Politics class that I'm taking this semester. To all of you who were reading my blog back in March and April, do you remember me telling you a little bit about my Honor Economics class? Well, this professor is EXACTLY the same as my Economics teacher, which is a little unnerving now that I think about it. The book I have to read isn't horrible, but considering that I have a test to take in less than 10 hours, I'm not one to want to read this, even though I'm going to get asked about it on the test. So, my plan is to stay up all night (mainly so that I don't sleep through this class-again), go to the gym in the morning, get myself a coffee, take this test and then go to German class so that I can review for the test that I have to take tomorrow. Yeah, sounds super fun. Then again, that's the story of my life.

I actually called this blog "The Story of My Life" for a while, but then realized that it was a stupid name for a blog that talked about the things that I talked about, so I changed it. I don't remember what I changed it to, but I do know that I changed it. Sleeping has become a huge problem for me now. I sleep TOO much, but it's not even because I have early classes (there's one that starts at 9:15 twice a week, but I already took American History, and I got a 4 on the AP, so it's kind of a joke for me). I don't know why. I used to go to sleep later than this when I was at home, and I would have to get up earlier than I do now. It's unsettling.

Enough about me. Here's the music! (some throwbacks from old posts):

19 hours and counting....

Now, you're all probably like "NO WAY. TWICE IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS." I just had to get this off my chest. All you "Castle" Fans out there, spoilers will be said within the next 2 sentences, so I recommend not reading this post until after you're all caught up. Oh, and if you're looking for music, don't expect it in this post.

Ready? Okay. With season 4 premiering in less than 24 hours, I'm squealing over the fact that a)Beckett was not shot fatally and b)those 3 magical words are in the air. While I'm not one to have already seen the episode (but trust me, I wish that I was one of those lucky people), I've been doing my research. From what I've read on the internet from those who have seen the episode (I ENVY YOU), Beckett and Castle will address those 3 lovely words that we're all so glad Rick finally got around to saying, even though it was in the last 10 seconds of the episode, right after our darling Kate was shot. Unfortunately for the fans who want the two to end up as a couple, you will be sadly disappointed, but don't give up yet! Nathan Fillion (who portrays Richard Castle so that we all love his rugged handsomeness, his charm, and his comedic timing) has said that he wants Beckett and Castle to have a drunken night of passion, and then to see where it goes from there. Stana Katic (our lovely Detective Kate Beckett) on the other hand, is not a huge supporter of the two coupling up. What's happened so far between this pair? Castle laid his cards out on the table TWICE during the epic season finale, telling Kate that he not only doesn't know what the two of them are, but that he loves her. I'm so in love with this couple, it's not even funny. You should hear me when I'm back home. I got both of my sisters to watch the show and we would wait up and watch, not one of us even tired, even though we had school the next day. This relationship keeps the show going, but from the moment that these two kissed when Ryan and Esposito were kidnapped, then Castle telling Beckett that she was "the mystery [he] was never going to solve", and then into the stunning admittance of his true feelings, we all know that we want more. What I do have to add to this relationship is that Josh is toast, which of course should make the pair free to do whatever they please, but alas. Castle, being the ultimate playboy, can't resist an attractive woman's charms, will be put to the test this season, especially seeing as how the pair isn't actually dating. Beckett likes Castle all to herself and seeing him with another woman, even if it's not serious, is (hopefully) going to drive here crazy.
Now, Andrew Marlow, the show's creator (the man whom all of us love so dearly for creating such a wonderful and fantastic show) has said it himself:Kate wasn't wearing a vest. That's right folks; she was NOT wearing a vest when she was shot. Of course, we have to keep Josh around to make Rick feel guilty about causing all of this, because let's be honest here, he was the one who pushed Kate into all of this. You're probably going to hate me for saying this, but Castle is partially to blame. Back in the ending of season 1 when he tells Beckett that she has to figure this out, it leads to the death of Montgomery and Beckett being shot. Marlow also said that they had been planning on taking Captain Montgomery off the show since January, and that they gave him a noble death, even though he was the 3rd cop.
What are we to expect for the rest of season 4? It's not supposed to be nearly as dark as season 3 was, mainly because they've got some more themed episodes. Unfortunately for us "Firefly" fans, Captain Mal Reynolds will NOT being making a cameo appearance, even thought I wish he would. We're also going to learn Alexis' true feelings for daddy-dearest on the job very early on in the season.Hint:she's not a huge fan, though she loves Beckett. What can we expect for Martha? Not too much, other than the fact that she and Castle will be on the wrong side of a robbery while she's trying to get a loan for her acting school. On the family front, we'll be learning the identity of Papa Castle, the big mystery for the ages among us Castle fans. Oh, and Ryan's wedding? As it turns out, our bromance may go through a rough patch when Ryan thinks about making Castle his best man, and not Esposito. Marlow has announced that it's going to come down to who can throw the best Bachelor party. Jenny's going to be bride-zilla, even though the two are already married in real life. The wedding is going to put a HUGE strain on Lanie and Esposito because Lanie starts talking about it.... Oh, and she won't get along to well with Jenny.
Onto the last thing that I know you're all wondering about. Who did the late captain send that envelope to? Marlow has announced that it's going to be addressed almost immediately, though I still don't know who it is, mainly because everyone whose seen the episode has been threatened with beheading if they admit anything. My money is on either Castle or Beckett's father. I guess I'll have to wait until tonight, thought I don't know if I can actually do that.

SO GLAD THAT I GOT THAT OFF MY CHEST. I hope you all enjoyed my take on the season premier, even though that's A TON of information that I've just laid on you guys. Also note-Marlow has no intention of becoming "Bones" simply because he doesn't want this relationship dragged out too much. One of the things we can love about ABC Network and not Fox.
I'm fully aware that this is an unusual post for me, but I needed to get it all out into the open. I hope all you "Castle" fans like it, even if you read this later.
Later Alligators.

No One Sees You Like I Do

My mother drives me crazy. Even from 600 miles away, she still manages to ruin my day. It wasn’t even anything big. It’s just that at my college, it’s a huge suit case campus, which means that a lot of people live close to home, so they go home on the weekends, which would be nice. But I’m 8 and a half hours away. So when I told my mother that I was planning to take a bus home, she automatically assumed that it was because I had no friends. Even though I told her that all my friends go home to work on the weekends. Why she took that to mean that I have no friends ever still makes no sense to me. Then she took my frustration to mean that I wasn’t happy at school. I’m quite happy at school because it means that I don’t have to be close to her. Don’t get me wrong, I love her. She’s just drives me crazy. I’m pretty sure that it’s the same for almost everyone. It’s okay, it’s completely private here, so you don’t have to worry about it. I just can’t handle it sometimes. I mean, now I am waiting for some of my friends to get back to campus so that I can go for dinner, but it’s nbd.

I’m also going to assumed that if I get no album suggestions before Wednesday that I’m going to review “Everything’s Fine” by The Summer Set. Also, if you guys haven’t read any of Chelsea Handler’s books, I fully suggest that you change that. She’s actually hilarious. I just read “Lies that Chelsea Handler Told Me” and I literally could not contain my laughter. It’s a bunch of stories written by her friends and family, and it’s hysterical. Anyways, I hope that you guys take the time to read it, on your kindle, nook, other e-reader, or who knows, the actual book. They do still make those.

I’m also counting down the days until my birthday. Why? Not only because it’ll be my 18th birthday, but it’s also the day that Christopher' Paolini’s conclusion to the Inheritance Cycle, which I have read faithfully from the day that “Eragon” was released in the bookstores. It seems fitting that it’s released on my 18th birthday. For all of you that read the books, you understand what a big deal this is. For all of you that saw the movie and didn’t read the book, they murdered the book, and I recommend reading it because of how the characters are developed, the storyline is wonderful, and the fact that it was written by a 16 year old makes it that much more impressive.

While I usually rant about politics or music, I felt that I should try to make literacy more appealing to the masses, but if you’re reading this, then there’s a very high chance that you don’t really need to worry about literacy. I mean, unless you’re blind, in which case I apologize for making that assumption. Anyways, MUSIC TIME!

A Daydream Away

So, I’ve recently started watching a show called “Covert Affairs”. If you aren’t a big fan of USA Network, then this is NOT the blog for you. I watch Psych(Shawn and Gus make me swoon), Royal Pains(I love Evan), White Collar (Neal Caffery makes my life), Suits(you know me and law shows), Fairly Legal (I love Michael) and now Covert Affairs. Now that I think about it, there are only 2 shows that I don’t watch that USA runs. If you can figure them out, then that’s some money to you, but if you can’t then I’ll just tell you. It’s Burn Notice and In Plain Sight, but that’s not because I don’t like them. I haven’t actually watched any episodes of either, but I think that I’m going to watch Burn Notice, and then In Plain Sight, mainly because that order would piss off one mf my guy friends whose in LOVE with Burn Notice, and I have a strange thing that I just love to piss this guy off. It’s a hobby that can keep me entertained for days. Back to Covert Affairs, I’m in love with Auggie, which is partially my reason for even watching the show after the pilot. I’m a huge TV person, but nothing has me more excited than the premier of the fourth season of Castle this coming Monday. Nathan Fillion, who is probably one of the most talented actors (in my opinion) and I think that he’s so much like Alec Baldwin. I mean, seriously, the similarities between the way that those two look has to be more than coincidence. It’s almost creepy. I thought that the two were related when I first saw “Firefly”. Then the 6th season of Psych (swoon) has me about ready to chew my nails off because I have a little less than a month left for that premier. This is actually the only show in USA Network history to make it to a 6th season, and I think that they could get at least 3 more seasons in if they don’t fall prey to the moonlighting curse. Bones has me pretty excited too, but I’m only going to get 6 episodes in before they have a hiatus for a few months while Emily Deschannel gets accustomed to her new baby. Glee and Bones are the only 2 FOX network shows that I watch, which most of my friends make fun of me for. I like Fringe, but that’s about it.

Anyways, off of TV. I figure that some songs I’ll give you are:

Opposites Distract

"We fall between the cracks, forget about each other til we get each other back." This song by All Time Low has been on my mind forever. It's "Just the Way I'm Not". It's one of the songs off their new album "Dirty Work" which was the tour that I got to see back in March, which you would know about if you were reading back then. Anyways, I felt like a good review of the album would make you guys happy, seeing as how I haven't reviewed an album in FOREVER. If you guys have any suggestions for an album, post it. Otherwise, it'll be "Everything's Fine" by the Summer Set.

RATING:5 Stars
SONGS TO LOOK FOR: ALL OF THEM
This album is definitely a rare one, simply because I love all the songs on it. I'm a huge fan of these guys and they didn't disappoint.  Sure, there are some songs that I love more than others, but overall, it's golden. "A Daydream Away" and "No Idea" are perfect to listen to when you want to calm yourself down, but the fast "Forget About It" and "Get Down On Your Knees and Tell Me That You Love Me" get me pumped up for a party or to go out with friends. All Time Low has definitely hit the big time with the label change and the upbeat album. It's clear that the songs are all written from experience and it's wonderful.

I hope you guys get the album (I used the Deluxe Edition, available on iTunes). I'll try to get another review on here before the end of the month, but I'm a little unreliable when it comes to these things. Again, any album suggestions, post them and let me know what you want reviewed (from my opinion).

A Reflection

It's the 10 year anniversary of probably one of the most horrible things to happen on United States soil in it's history. Over 3,000 people were killed, but since it happened when I was in 3rd grade, I didn't exactly understand the gravity of the situation. I remember that we were listening to the radio during a spelling test, and then the song was interrupted. My teacher gasped but no one else in my class seemed to understand it. I remember getting home and trying to talk to my mom about it, but my dad had been sent into the city and my mom was worried. My dad was a police officer at the time, and I was so scared when my mom told me that something might happen. My best friend was crying because her aunt had been killed. It wasn't until the next day when things had been explained and the principal had gotten on the loud speaker and said that anyone who felt upset was allowed to leave class to go to the therapist, but elementary school kids don't always understand how situations can impact the rest of the country.

That's my story. It's not nearly as tragic as others, but I applaud all of the men and women who went to ground zero and did their jobs. To all of those who lost family members or friends in the tragic events of 9/11, my condolences go out to you. Also, I ask that everyone who reads this makes their facebook status the following paragraph:
On September 11th, 2001, 4 passenger jets crashed by the force of terrorism. The twin world trade centers were each hit with planes, a third into the Pentagon. A fourth plane never reached its destination, it was brought down by the brave souls on flight 93 that made the ultimate sacrifice . Almost 3,000 innocent people were killed that day, along with the first responders to the attacks as firemen, police, and paramedics. In remembrance of these brave men and women, post this is your status.

Forget about each other til we get each other back

So, it's been more than a month since my last post, but I thought that an update on college life would be nice for all you. I love it. It's great. My professors are all pretty cool, and this campus is amazing. Besides all the squirrels here, of course. Aside from that, it's fantastic. The freedom, the people, and all that.

Here are some songs to tide you all over:
1)Just the Way I'm Not-ALL TIME LOW
2)Crash into Me-DAVE MATTHEWS BAND
3)Passion for Publication-ANARbOR (throwback)
